Business Creation and Incubation - I create successful companies and enable others to do the same.
I work with clients to develop ideas from initial concept to full production, challenging and redefining Business Plans,
ensuring financial and technical viability, and overseeing successful delivery. Founded Soft Top Ltd, LEW Construction, Immaculate Concepts Ltd. I was a Director of Renovate Alerts, the online property portal, which we sold in 2019. Business Analysis and Strategic planning - I assess the strengths and weaknesses in key aspects of a business, from people to products, financials to infrastructure. I balance an understanding of immediate requirements with long term strategy and scalability, and provide valuable insights and solutions. I have worked with adidas, Oddbins, IMP and Pension Protection Fund. Technical Analysis - I understand the business imperatives as well as the technical detail, to translate requirements effectively from Board to IT department. This ensures solutions that meet the business need in full, allow for future strategic development, and are technically feasible and robust. This rare ability saves time and reduces risk and costs. Mentoring - I have been working as a mentor for some time with a number of startups via Oxford University Innovation (technology transfer for Oxford University), including OxLegal and MeVitae and have worked with several startups as a Virgin Startup Mentor. This keeps me in touch with new technology developments and enables me to pass on my experience and expertise to bright young startups.
